With the worst financial disaster since the Great Depression occurring, the most horrific natural disaster in Australia’s history – Black Saturday and the Global warming scenario all striking at once, the world has been gripped by a wave of fear and panic. But this isn’t the time to become pessimistic or afraid, unlike the world; we have God’s promises to stand on! The Kingdom of God is not in recession, it’s not now, never has nor ever will be! But what is this ‘Kingdom of God’ the Bible tells us to seek and how does it operate? It’s a kingdom that functions radically different to the ways of the world. The Kingdom of God is at hand – in actual fact it is within us – yet unless there is a radical change in the way we think, we may never experience it! “Change your attitude and your actions, because an invasion of the Spirit is imminent.” (Matt 4:17)
