The word ‘Arise’ is used many times throughout the Bible, but I wonder if we fully comprehend it’s meaning. The Jewish rabbis believe that the word Arise includes the meaning of going to a higher level. If we are to experience true revival throughout our nation we are going to have to ‘go to a higher level’ in God. Isaiah 60:1 says: Arise from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you ; rise to a new life! Shine – be radiant with the glory of the Lord: for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you!
