The Bible teaches us to ‘train up a child in the way he should go’, it doesn’t instruct us to just teach. Scriptures also tell us that we have no shortage of instructors (10,000) but what we lack are fathers and mentors- people that instruct and train. We don’t just teach soldiers – we train them. We don’t just teach pilots, athletes or doctors – we train them! There is no shortage or lack of teaching in today’s church – what is desperately needed is actual, hands on training. In this series Col shows how we can train our sons and daughters to succeed in life, marriage, family and their spiritual life.
