This is a story set at the outbreak of WWI and deals with the life of a young Aboriginal who tragically leaves his beloved land and girl and rides off to join the light horse. At the darkest moment in Billy’s life he meets up with a chaplain who has an affect on his life. Billy becomes involved in a world shattering event, an event that thrusts him onto the world stage. A great read.
